Having previously spent a brief amount of time in Vancouver and on the ski mountain of Big White in British Columbia, I returned to Canada eager to absorb as many beautiful sights as I could.
After a long and arduous drive from Wyoming, Alex and I arrived in Calgary, exhausted but ready to explore all the city had to offer. The following day we picked up a friend who was to be joining us for the remainder of our road trip. Together, the three of us made the most of our combined week in Alberta and British Columbia.
We drank on a night out in Calgary, hiked a top beautiful mountains in Banff and had our breath taken away by the sights we saw and surreal beauty we witnessed. We each embraced the snow and cold weather (something we do not get too much of in Australia) and were crestfallen when it was time to leave. Arriving in Canada we knew we would be greeted by magnificent mountains, nature and incredible animals, what we didn’t realise however, was how much of the country we still wanted to explore.
